Information we collect
When you request a quote, send a “need help now” request, book a service, or create an account, we collect your name, phone number, email (where given), property address, and — if you choose to share it — your GPS location, so a technician can find you. If you sign in, we store your phone number to verify a one-time code sent by SMS; we never see or store the code itself, or a password. If you pay for a booking, Ziina (our payment provider) handles your card details directly — we store only the payment status and amount, never your card number.
How we use it
To respond to your quote or urgent request, schedule and carry out a booking or AMC contract visit, process payment, and contact you about work in progress. We also use anonymised, aggregated booking data internally to plan pricing and staffing — never to identify you individually outside of running the business.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run Amana Crew, each processing only what they need to do their job: Supabase (database hosting), Ziina (payment processing), Twilio (SMS verification codes), Resend (email notifications to our own team), and Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform (notifying our technicians of a new job — this does not message you). We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else without your consent unless required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep booking, quote, and contract records for as long as your account or AMC contract is active, and for a reasonable period after (typically up to 5 years) to meet UAE tax and accounting requirements. You can ask us to delete your account and personal data at any time; we will do so unless we are legally required to retain specific records.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing us at the address below. If you signed in to the app, you can also view and manage your own bookings, saved addresses, and AMC contract directly.
Children
Amana Crew is a business service for booking home maintenance and is not directed at, or knowingly used by, children.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change to how we handle your data, we will update this page and change the date above.
